My Farbenmix Pattern Book is HERE!

The UPS guy rang my door bell at 9:30 am & guess what was there… my Sewing Clothes Kids Love: Sewing Patterns and Instructions for Boys’ and Girls’ Outfits Farbenmix book that I pre-ordered from Amazon! I just got the shipping notice at 6:30 last night . I love prime shipping & living near a distribution center (it was just released).

It’s got some nice stuff in it! 2 of the patterns do work for girls or boys (though from the cover you would think it was more then that!). The first half of it is a lot of techniques, how to’s and other info. They also have a section on fit & how to make ‘Kinderquins’ aka kiddo duct tape dummies! My only disappointment so far is most books this size have 25 or so patterns in them, this one only has 10! It’s still definitly worth the price of the book over individual patterns… there’s are about $11-$15 each normally?  I can’t wait to try it out!  The patterns range from size 18m to size 12!

Anyways This is a list of the patterns included (I took pictures of everything but the Feliz but the link takes you to LOTS):
Feliz Party Dress
Avalon Jacket

Brooklyn Shrug

Brooklyn Tank Top

Dortjie Trousers

Imke Shirt

Insa Skirt

Manhattan Special Occasion Dress

Riviera Leggings and Shorts

Silver Lake Windbreaker (they show a boy version too)

wow! I had no idea there was a book coming out. Loving a couple of those right away. I made the Felix last year for my DD’s birthday/Easter dress. it was much easier than it looks.

lol, I figured that! The directions in the book are SO much better then the paper patterns! I think 2 are from existing patterns that they are discontinuing & the rest are new ones!

that looks so cool. I love really original clothing like that. It looks like it leans more on the girl side though?

Yeap only 2 patterns are really unisex, the pants CAN be but I think you would have to modify them a lot.
