Okay, so this is whats up, for a few weeks I have been playing with some all natural chemical free beauty/spa treatments. I like them & the neighbor likes them, so I am considering selling them at the local farmers market. The marketing that I will be focusing on is all natural products in earth friendly recyclable packaging ‘going green’. Dry products will be in small paper bags with labels so they can easily be recycled. Wet products will be in baby food jars that have been sterilized of course. The lids I will spray paint & then stamp so they look cute. They ARE recycled, can be recycled, or they can be returned to me for .25 off their next purchase. We are very close to Seattle & Whidbey Island is known for all the environmentally cautious nature loving ‘crunchy’ residents; so I have no doubt that their is a market for that stuff here. I still have to come up for a name for the line… not really sure what to call it since ‘The Little Ones Boutique’ is generated towards kids, not adults. So that is my next big step, naming them & creating a logo.
Anyways I giving away full size samples!!! All I ask is that you report back to me via about how they work!!!
Currently the products have any of these ingredients…
milk, olive oil, oatmeal, cornmeal, vinegar, baking soda, vitamins A, D & E & Essential oils (I will tell you in the individual products.)
1… Soap free milk bath treatment with eucalyptus oil.
The bath treatment softens & moisturizes your skin leaving you silky & luxurious. The scent of the eucalyptus oil refreshes the body, invigorates the mind & purifies the spirit. Simply add to hot water when running your bath & soak for 15 minutes or longer.
2…Cinnamon Leaf hot oil treatment for normal to dry hair.
Give yourself soft healthy hair with this easy hot oil treatment! The Cinnamon Leaf energizes the body, focuses the ming & revitalizes the spirit. Simple warm in the microwave for 30 seconds & make sure to test it with a finger before applying to hair. Over a sink or tub gently massage into your scalp & then comb through your hair until everything is covered. Pull it up as the oils will stain clothing, & wait 15 for normal hair then wash as usual. For dry hair let it sit for 30. Just make sure that you wash with warm water to get all the oil out (otherwise you will have greasy hair)
3… Chamomile pore toning facial.
This facial feels great & serves multi purposes! It helps clean the pores, remove dry dead skin & tighten the skin leaving you with fresh, soft, radiant skin. But the Chamomile extract also helps reduce puffiness which is great for around the eyes. To use simply ad water a tablespoon at a time to form a thick paste. Apply to the skin your your finger tips. As it dries it will tighten your skin. Massage your skin to let it remover dry skin & blackheads. Finally rinse well.
A few others that I am looking into to making but haven’t yet… Peppermint nail & cuticle treatment, Oil free hair shining & softening treatment, Rough spots skin conditioner (knees & elbows) & a Chlorine hair repair treatment for blondes.
If you would like to have your name entered into the random drawing please post a comment here with what product(s) you would like to try! On Feb 7th I will choose 2 winners for each product.

Your products sound great and it sounds like you have a great target market right where you live. I would love to try any of your products but especially the hot oil treatment for hair.
Good luck on your new venture. I also like the idea of “oasis” in the name.

I would love to be entered for the chamomile facial! Your blog looks great. I have seen most of your stuff at SM (jewels1119) , and I just adore that red polka dot dress!

Since you already have someone for the hair treatment I’d love to try the Chamomile pore toning facial.

I would love to try the milk bath. Now we have a new bath it is nice to have a kid free soak in it in the evening. If you do make the anti-chlorine stuff too I have a blondie in desperate need!

I would love to try the Chamomile pre-toning facial one too. It all sounds lovely though.
How about ‘Mummy’s Me Time’ or something similar for your product name? I am thinking it is going to be marketed to mums who care about the environment and their kids but we never make time for ourselves… until now. And if the products are quick and easy to use then you can fit more than one product into the 10 min snatched for a shower etc…
Good luck. Love the packaging idea.

It all sounds wonderful. Good luck with your enterprise–I’m sure you’ll be a hit!
I’d love to try either the bath treatment or the facial. They both sound luxurious!
BTW, since you’re recycling, I have an idea for you. I saw this in a scrapbooking store. They took one of those fourpacks of coffee drinks (you know, they come in little glass bottles in a cardboard thingie) and altered it. They covered the box with cute paper and painted the lids. I didn’t actually pick it up, so I don’t know how they did the actual bottles. But in this case, they filled each bottle with candy for Valentine’s Day. I wonder if you could do something similar with several of your products and sell it as a gift pack?
Good luck to you! I wish I lived nearby. I love farmer’s markets!

Your products sound heavenly and I think you have a great market where you live. I like the recyclable packaging. I agree that a product name with Oasis would work well. I would love to try the Chamomile pore toning facial.

I would love to try your milk bath product. On the new name, since the other one is the Little Ones, how about the Not So Little Ones…you could end up having a line for teens, as well. Good luck in your new venture.
