The Capsule Skirt is the perfect piece for the much sought after capsule wardrobe. It is a modern yet classic knit skirt, while being both comfortable and practical. This simple half circle skirt has a knit waistband and much needed hidden side seam pockets. The clean lines are flattering on a variety of figures and this simple garment is a nice, quick sew. The waist hits just below the belly button & the hem is designed to hit right above the knee.

Since we are all shaped differently, there is an additional hemline option for the back piece that is slightly longer and allows for more back coverage for those who need it as well as for those in diapers. We have also included an optional low rise front option which is handy for girls who still have a little belly, or just prefer to wear it lower, without making it significantly longer in the front. This pattern includes 19 sizes for girls from newborn to 18 tween. As a bonus we have also included a version for 15-18” dolls and many stuffed animals.

I love this pattern, the fit is great, the length is perfect and the pockets are genius (my daughter is now very annoyed if things don’t have pockets, where is she supposed to put her hands?!). I love the wider all knit waistband, super comfortable and easy for my daughter to get on and off.
The pattern is easy to assemble and sew, the directions are easy to follow.
